Avocados are great to go with Mais Moulin (corn meal). But did you know that avocados are an excellent and effective remedy for reducing eye wrinkles?

At some point in time, we all develop eye wrinkles. It’s a part of the natural aging process. As we grow older, our skin becomes a bit thinner and this makes the formation of wrinkles easier. Interestingly, eye wrinkles are usually the first to form.

The good news is that there are all natural ways of preventing, reducing, and removing wrinkles around the eyes. Avocados offer you an excellent remedy to combat eye wrinkles.

But before we get to the avocado recipe, let’s discuss a few natural things you can do as a remedy for wrinkles.

Nothing beats good eating habits. Eating foods rich in antioxidants is of great benefit to your skin. Consuming fruits, veggies, nuts, and fish will provide your skin with plenty of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals.

This will slow down the formation of eye and facial wrinkles. We’ve heard that “you are what you eat”, but now we need to think in terms of “your skin is what you eat.”

Like nutrition, exercise also is a great all-natural remedy for wrinkles. Exercise keeps your muscles and skin firm. Without regular exercise, your skin will become loose, which promotes wrinkles.

A phenomenal all-natural remedy for eye wrinkles is water. Poorly hydrated skin is more likely to wrinkle because it is dry. Water helps to keep your skin moist, softer, and younger looking. Simply by drinking a minimum of eight to ten glasses of water each day, your skin will look much better.

Avocados are loaded with several important nutrients including Vitamin E, potassium, folic acid, many B-vitamins, and monounsaturated fats (good fats). Because of these healthy fats and essential nutrients, avocados provide wonderful benefits to your skin – whether you eat them or apply them directly to the skin. They are quite beneficial as a skin moisturizing dry skin. The skin and area around the eye is particularly sensitive, therefore you should always test a small area prior to applying anything to the whole area.

Indulging in a wonderful avocado facial is quite easy to do at home.

Step One: Remove any makeup

Step Two: Using your favorite cleanser or simply warm water and soap, gently wash your face

Step Three: Mash an avocado until it is nice and creamy

Step Four: Add a little milk to the creamy avocado. Milk has lactic acid, which is great for softening the skin and firming up wrinkles.

Step Five: Apply a medium layer of the avocado mixture to your face. Leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes.

Step Six: Gently rinse the facemask off with warm water and pat your skin dry.

The avocado’s all-natural oil and nutrients will help prevent and reduce eye wrinkles. Your skin will look more attractive and young.
